2 days of Cape Town

What is the event about?

The 2-days of Cape Town will have a sprint and endurance tournament. There will be racing for scholars, women, Jr, elite and masters. The event takes place at the iconic Bellville velodrome on 19 and 20 Dec 2025.

Entries will be online only on the CSA portal from 24 October.

Where is the event being hosted?

The event is hosted at the iconic Bellville velodrome, South Africa. It is a 250m Olympic sized, indoor cycling facility. It is the only fully covered track in Africa. It has hosted the junior world champs and the world “B” world champs. The embankments have 42 degree slopes. The track has a concrete surface. Most famously it has hosted the tri-nations between SA, Australia, Holland, France, Great Britain, Germany and other nations in the past. Several world champions and professional riders competed here. Graeme O’Bree, Bruno Risi, Franco Marvulli, JP van Zyl, Robert Hunter and the current Italian coach, Marco Villa all raced at the Bellville velodrome.
